Not really. The only good thing about him is how strong the bonds he have with his pokemon, Charizard included... His story and bonds with his pokemon are always so inspiring... I'm not even talking about Pikachu tho.

And he's not all that terrible... I guess during most of his journey, he's usually going with his small tiny pokemon, but eventually, later on the season, some of them will evolve, and during the Pokemon League where he can assemble his best team, he's not half bad... His Charizard, Sceptile, and Infernape are all very strong too, match up to the best of in the league.

He's a perma kid tho.

Until he gets teeth, then apparently people think he aged.

One of the biggest problem.... Including his tendency to go all noob all over again when he visits a new region..... He was one of the top leaguer in the previous league, and then a few months later when he arrived in the new region, he's all noob again....

It's funny how his Pikachu resets to level 1 in every region and immediately loses to a water type or something.
