That means just to resist one pokemon, everyone must bring that Ferrothorn in their team?... Stupid... Yes, it still is broken... Not only that, even after it got knocked out, the rain is still there and will double the speed of anything with swift swim in your team... Like Kingdra for example... One down, comes another one of bigger threat.

Okay. Admittedly Ferro alone isnt enough. Specsdra does around 45% with Hydro Pump to Ferro in Rain. But suppose we remove ONLY Kingdra. That means only Tops and Ludi are the viable SSers. Still broken? Ludi can't do much with that SpA and Tops can't OHKO except boosted. Ofc there's Iron Barbs for physical hits.

You assume like everyone would bring a ferrothorn just to resist it... I won't even care to play it if it forces me to bring that one pokemon everytime I play the game... Pokemon is fun because of it's variety... Not because everyone uses the same pokemon in their team.

But Ferrothorn is a staple in OU. I'm serious, it has so much utility that it can fit in all teams. Sure you can go by without it, but as far as rain is concerned it can be used to wall basically anything rain has to throw, except kingdra.

Okay, suppose one more thing. Top three SSers are removed. (Keep in mind that the ONLY SSers that can remove Ferro are Kingdra and Tops) Would it still be broken? If yes, why? If no, why too? We have water absorb etc. Gorbyss, Floatzel and Omanyte... would you say those are broken?

How about Smogon's method to solve this, ban only the combo of Drizzle + Swift Swim. You agree with that or just removing the broken abusers?

Also, keep in mind that by removing Drizzle we're removing rain entirely. Considering the gen 5 being weather war, and Ninetales too weak, it'll be completely centralizing to sand.
