The only six sam problem: lack of pure attack power.
Meh there's strong enough cards. Abilities can wear the enemy down well enough, and with the ability to special summon monsters above 2000atk, multiple per turn if played right, is really pretty overwhelming. Not to mention if you have that card that increases all Warrior and Spellcaster monsters attack by 200 for every one of those types on your side, it adds up pretty damn quickly. Spell cards spell cards spell cards Mibu.
true, but take a duel against lizards for example. it's a matter of first draw. if they get rdmd + low lizard first draw, chances are shi en cant do much.

Flying monsters not being hurt by ground monsters? Flame Swordsman not being a fusion monster? Battle Ox being immune to fire attacks? Call of the Haunted making things invincible and bringing all monsters back as zombies? Dragon Capture Jar actually doing what it sounds like? xD they uber hax'd the hell outta things back in the day.

@Mibu: Ahhh yes dragon decks...gotta love them. Gotta love a first turn future fusion for 5 god dragon, use up two R.E.B Wyverns along with two Darkness Metal Dragons and special summon them both at the end phase lol fun way to start things off.
