Well i personlly wasnt reall a fan of FF XIII but the gameplay is completely different like Star Ocean :)
I prefer SO4 over FFXIII anytime, you even have much ackground story and you can relate to decisions they are making and feel their pain ,_,

But FF XIII got this beautiful and cool heroine as the main character right? Sometimes I want to imagine the world as the main character too~ It's hard to do so if the main character is a boy.

Well you dont need to play with the main guy in your party i think, even tho he is strong. You can also have a purely girl power crew :)

And I never really care about item creations or weapons, or the likes Asa~ just provide with the great view of the world the game sets in and inspiring stories~~

Haha I see, but if you ever want to synthesize something, i can tell you whats useful for you play, but yeah, you should totally enjoy the wnvironment and the cool areas/planets. =)
