its a hovercraft.
Prototype hovers allow it to float ontop of the water on high speeds.
Same rotors allow diving as well.
If it was more for air combat, id make it to look more like a plane.

The 5mm autocannons, there are 32 gun barrels total, one Autocannon system takes 4 so it leaves you with 8 autocannons.
