I meant the general tax on all goods. My dictionary told me it was VAT, but who knows, it is a bit outdated, so I might have to go buy a new one soon. 25% on the current gasoline, gas (for the heater), water and electricity prices is a horror.

Holy bajebus!! I thought 8.5% was bad...

EDIT: But then again they get us with Income tax and the likes at the end of the year...

Same in Denmark. Though if you work in a normal warehouse you can earn up to *whips out calculator* 21,51$ / hour after the taxes (depending on workplace. Others pay you only 16$ / hour).

I haven't been in church since I left Denmark... which is quite a few months now. Anyways, you have to remember that with 25% taxes on everything, it drains your money away at high speed aswell, so I guess in the end it is basicly the same.

A) It wouldn't be neutral I think it would be indifferent in this case :P And secondly by being random we do have topics we talk over and the threat title suggests that we are having random things we are discussing, thus being random.
