As the name says. It is a programm that can "animate" or rather offer a large range of effects to signatures, pictures, etc. It is also good for editing flash files and so on. So basicly you have a ton of different options with it. The problem is that it takes quite the time to get a hang on it, if your too proud to read a tutorial and don't want to spoil yourself the feeling of having managed it yourself. However, when you do get the basics and the stuff you need... the result it *points at sig*

Yep, it is. It is another programm with another purpose. As the name also states, it's main purpose is to alter things AFTER creation. While you create them inside Photoshop :) Imagine it like painting and polishing a car. While Photoshop is the paint, After Effects is the polish that can make things shine a bit more.

I used photoshop once, got confused. Deleted it and went back to whatever the name of the one I was using (it came with my computer).
