Just to be technical, and perhaps not pertaining to this, but a 1TB harddrive is actually something like 850+MB or so...I forget why right now because I need sleep, but it is an interesting fact none the less...

Let me put it like this: The usual DVD is 7GB large. 1 Terrabyte (TB) = 1024 GB. So basicly you could put 146 DVD's on it :D

ok nothing is ever dead on the number of bytes they say it is, it is close as they can get it

Yea, there's about a 15% margin. I think it has something to do with the technical info compared to the manufacturers info, there's also a few MB of programming for autorun and whatnot

indeed its not spot on but its like 928 or something if you go premium and brand name its always better for external and internal
