I don't mean like just for a short stop but for an extended periodCompletely ignoring this, I've been to Munich once (Although for only about a week.) when I was really little, accompanying my sister to see a musical performance. (Which I can't even remember right now. I think it was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat)

Incase anyone of you ever visits Germany... I can only advise going to e.g. Hamburg during the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festival. It is so damn freaking awesome (was there last year and I think I might go there again this year).
As for your other comment: It is true Nacho :( Sadly. Once this country was better and called "Das Land der Dichter und Denker". Look what became of us :P A state with a large debt hole in the bottom, problems all over the way and a walrus as chancellor.

Of course having a bit of knowledge about the native language never hurts... especially when traveling by subway

Well rather than that it helps if you know where you have to get out. Because incase you don't know what the name of the station sounds like and don't act swiftly when the train stops, you are in a slight pinch :D
