Minsc has notice maybe one-maybe more individuals giving out -REP to other people (Such as myself, which is a frequent target.)
If you would like to know why you've received minus rep, or admit that you've given out a few, post here. Don't be shy. If your reason is justified, everyone will agree with you.... and if you do it out of despite... well then you should see a counselor about your anger management.

geez never thought about tht before but good topic Minsc ! also in order to boost one's rep or minus other's rep is always possible a user can have two accounts in fakku and altered the rep system in this site by his own *shouts* will someone get a hold on this system here ? is pretty dangerous for other's rep here man !

Yeah, thats why there is the 15 post min. It probably needs to be raised though to cut down on some abuse of the system. It has also been suggested that it be made mandatory that people leave a comment explaining why they +/- someone's rep.

It's probably because you post so much. You've been here a week and have more posts than a good deal of the community. People tend to down the rep of people like that.

It may also be that you're very quick to make you're often very conservative political views known. I wouldn't be surprised if people were quick to decide they didn't like you for that and gave you - rep to be mean. People tend to get kinda silly over people's political tendencies.

I minus rep people when I see that they have 2 posts and ask for seven movies to be uploaded when they haven't done anything for the community. Other than that, unless you're being a total moron I don't - rep people.

The only time I -rep is when botters spam the board. I know it's useless and they make several new accounts anyways.

thats one way of unleashing anger into constructive way although is not very constructive. furthermore why would some dumbo - other's rep as they pleas if they are trying to release anger i would suggest them to hunt down a few demons in DMC 3 ps2 (try matching my result of double ss in every stage in dante must die mode)

Huh, looks like I got minus 1 as well. I had 14 before, I wonder who did it/why I lost a bit. I don't mind losing a point, but it would be nice if people said why. After all, if you do something someone doesn't like, theres no way to know if they don't say anything.
edit- I should clarify that I really post this just to find out who gave the - rep and why out of curiosity. I'm not asking for +rep or anything. And certainly no hard feelings to whoever gave the - rep.

Well I don't think it's something that just one person does, this is something that has been brought up a number of times in the past, hence the talks in the feedback/suggestions board about raising the post requirement and/or making an explanation mandatory.
I'd only give -rep if it seemed like someone was intentionally trying to be annoying or rude. I haven't gotten the impression that you've been trying to annoy anyone. I've rather enjoyed reading and/or taking part in some of the debates you've been in.

Either way, if REP becomes important, it'll be a sad day for targeted individuals.
The person probably has some issues with me, but doesn't want to come forward. It's a shame, why not enlighten me... instead of act like a little terrorist?

This isn't directly related but just kinda something on the topic in general. I guess there isn't much point in complaining about the actual loss of rep, it is after all just a number representing the number of times youve made people happy or unhappy with you. If people didn't give out -rep then the number wouldnt have much purpose.
That being said, I think comments should be required by non-admin fakkers when giving +/- rep.
