they are always up to something... remember they are RANDOMIS so they could plan everthing (maybe world domination). Btw poker is not that interessing I mean in my opinion it is more like hobby. German TV is spamed with poker adverstising, it is really bothering me.

I am at least :P And I don't watch German TV for the single reason that the dubbing of movies sounds more horrible than that street musician near the park. Not to mention that the stuff they air is crap, so no paying TV fees for me, as it is a waste of money to watch German TV.

Well that is right, but thanks god my TV broke yesterday...I now only recive a picture but no sound... very strange. Anyway I think this time I will get a TV card or a VGA box with a included TV tuner.

And the end of the world....will definitly come when the sun begins colapse and by doing so it will also extend, then the earth will be the planet closed to the sun and no more live will be able to exist. But it is far more interessting what happens to humanity during this time... I mean will humanity be able to conquer new planets and live there what do you think ?? I mean the problem is that other planets with similar qualities to earth are far away so it will take thousands of years to reach them.

Some sort of Cryogenics, temporary stasis, or faster than light travel would be required. Also, no telling what other unforseen complications will arise from prolonged space travel.

According to Einstein's theory of relativity. However, there is a slight possibility he was wrong. However, I tend to go with Einstein on this one. So I'd say something more along the lines of Cryostasis, or something along those lines. Or......perhaps something humans haven't thought of yet. Kinda like the gravity drive in Event Horizon. Yeah, it turned out disastorus in the movie, but you never know. One of the things that makes specultaion on the future fun.

Cro is a possibility but also a problem I mean who is going to controll the space ships the whole time of Cro. If something bad happens and no one is around to fix it....
Another problem, if the conquest of a planet is possible. There is the question, how do we communicate with the earth if it still exists or other planets that are serveral lightyears away... normal commuincation technologie will no longer work, it would take years for a message to reach its destination. And don´t forget that messages can also be disturbed on their way to their destination. (but this could be avoided by using forward error correction algorithm, which make a message much longer but enable to fix transmissiondperturbation)

True, but like I said. These are all theories, currently we either have no idea how to do it, or we have a general idea, but lack the technology. As far as the Cryo issue goes some sort of A.I. would be needed, however this could have a catastrophic effect (think 2001 A Space Odyse) I think I spelled that right.

Agreed, I also don't think it's wise to try to invent A.I. Should a computer think for itself eventually it will become sentient. This scenario almost always ends with human extinction.

If don´t think a computer is able to think in a way a human does, the human brain is way more to complex that it could be copied that easily. I mean the scenario like in any video game (like cortana form halo) is little bit to fictional. Let´s simply take the remembrance as an example, how is a A.I supossed to judge which incoming datas are important and which are not.
And even it this would be possible, a A.I has only a limited capacity of memory space available. another fact is that there are to many problems in this world, so every problem has its very own algorithm eveloped by some people. I don ´t think an A.I is able to solve problems like these by itself.
A humanbrain can not be replaced by a computer, even our mathe lecturer thinks this way. On of his rules during the exams were that we may not use a calculator, because I say people that only rely on those thins tend to rely a little bit to much on a calculator. So they only typing in the formula and the values, press enter and than think the result is correct. But every computer does a mistake ones in a while. but that was just some additional info, back to topic: A.I is not possible, cause computers are note reliable enough.
