Question of the day: What are game manuals and Walkthroughs to you?

I usualy don't bother with manuals until like in SW:RC they don't have something like short story. As for walkthroughs I use them solely for timesaving because my choise of games are usually heavy story oriented I go with systemathical order what I want to see/read do (example: Which route in VN I wanna se first or similar).

Manuals = Ooh pictures of the characters. . .Done *Places back in the CD Case*

Walkthroughs, never actually used one, since I'm engaged to a living one. Most of the VNs and games I play are usually the ones that Kotomi already finished. If I get stuck, and by stuck I mean REALLY REALLY stuck at some point in a game I ask her. More than that I try to 100% Clear a game with willpower and a lot of save files.

Know what you mean. Arma is suriving with because it's game concept is military simulator not to mention I stuffed it with add-ons and mods.
How about easter egg hunting?
