So you applied as a private. Okay that means you're my direct subordinate so let me explain a few things:
As a Private: an ordinary role, just follow orders and whatnot. Basically like a butler/maid in a cafe or mansion. With more experience, you'll get promotions to higher rankings (Corporal, Sergeant, etc)

Hope you read first post where everything is exmplained. Also there is one thing about armory: It's off limit except emergencies to anybody who is not senior staff IE Commander, me and division chiefs. Weapons issued upon request you keep a sidearm at any time. Read the equipment list a pick a weapon of choice (can be changed but must be on the list). Customizing is everybody's thing but please keep it in bounds of reality (no I REBUILD MY HK416 FOR 7.62x54mmR).

You can't. That's the point. Even though there is HK417 for 7.62x51mm NATO there never was a weapon for 7.62x54mmR made by H&K.
