https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?p=3415574#3415574Looks good but I'm sort of off on the age. If you read Yukito's character, there is apparently an 150 year+ life expectancy which makes me to believe that people slower. If that is the case, an 18 year old in that time would probably be the equivalent of approximately an 8 year old(or younger if my calculation is off) in our time.
Food for thought.
@CHT, read the threads made by Yukito-Kun in the Writing and Fanfiction section of the forums.
EDIT: Unless of course the increased life expectancy is something that only altered humans have in which case, since you're character is an unaltered human, the age is appropriate.

I'm a human though. And honestly, 18 years are enough to accomplish whatever, especially with that talent.

Uni is kinda different from what I imagined... Especially more messy than I imagined... Now I wonder if it would be easier just to enlist in some expeditionary force for real...

Though if you're alright with this, most rifles(and even pistols and SMGs) are able to mount a bayonet at the ends of their barrels.
In the case of my second paragraph, I could name many.

Snipers, ey?
Well, any AR-15 based sniper could technically mount a bayonet if you attached a bayonet appropriate muzzle accessory and lug built for AR-15s. There are a large number of AR-15 based snipers.
Spoiler:
NOTE: The last two are not AR-15 based.
