I find that almost all of the advice given does not apply in IB. "Actually contribute to threads" LOL how the hell does one contribute to douchebaggery? by being a bigger douchebag? douché..

2. READ MOTHERFUCKER. you'll want to get a feel of how people are in here, then slowly get into it, don't jump in and pretend to be an oldfag.

That makes me sad. I actually wanted to troll you, but I think you are correct on some points.
But what you forget is that Fakku! is a good platform for communication with people you appreciate. For example I really like to chat with Gravity Cat and I am always happy to read nice posts from Tyrano or other cool chaps and girls.
Maybe I am just being a silly newfag who knows nothing about IB and Fakku, but I think that there are still nice communications going on in here. There are haters too, but that is normal and I even think that a good community should be able to deal with haters and unappropriate butthurt.
So I wish you a great time whether you stay or not (I prefer 1st).

That's the whole point. Avoid IB for the most part. Post in forums that aren't completely retarded, because if you just live in IB, you will be learning from the worst kind of user.

People like these are butthurt people, don't become one of them.
