In solo queue, you play 1v9 or not at all. But this cultivates egotism. When you're playing with your friends, how do you decide who's the leader? Can you lead or follow? If your leader calls something you disagree with, will you follow it or ignore the order? Do you understand what a team means? It means you have a leader. During early game, even your jungler is the natural leader as he has the most potential to decide the flow of your lanes. During mid game and late game, a leader is necessary for quick decisions where every second counts. Teamwork is when your leader pings and you all move right then and there. Not yesterday or tomorrow, but now. It really peeves me when people think it's okay to react to a ping even a second later. In a game like this where every second counts, a second of indecision will break you. This sounds like the leader has overwhelming sovereignty, but if he makes a bad call, you have every right to bash him and figure out a new leader. There is no inequality in a team; just because someone is the leader doesn't mean that person gets it for free. Also, having a bad leader who makes awful calls is obviously bad, but what's worse is an unreliable leader. Someone who makes awful calls can only get better as he or she plays but someone who's unreliable and random is simply unfit to lead.

In solo que, there's no leader


initiator champions are the leader. You follow them and just be sensible. If you know there'll be a gank and it'll be 3 v 5 you ping your team to go back

there's no such thing as leadership on solo que. Follow your instinct and try to warn allies of ganks/you're ganking so they'll know and make judgement accordingly

cause in solo que no one use skype/vent/mumble

Answer is no. The best team doesn't even need words to communicate. Simple attentiveness to the map and what your teammates are doing can give you all the cues you need. But that's a very high level of teamwork; being able to just use pings to communicate is a standard level. How do I know this? Because I played a game where teamwork is quintessential and where teams can have up to 9 people. I have seen the greatness teamwork can offer and it is very beautiful and powerful. What goes on in normal games of solo queue is not teamwork.

So, the point of this debacle is?

If you have ego, you will never have teamwork.

I want you to listen to my every command if we're in a game together. When I ping, you move right then and there. No buts or ifs about it. You will not question any of my orders vocally and you will follow them even if you disagree to the best of your ability. As a team member, could you handle this? Being in a premade or a solo queue both require you to be part of a team, there is no difference.

sadly i've played lots of solo que and 5 man premades

and follow your command? if i've played with you and you have a good sense and skills why not?
That applies on my premade team, usually the most skilled in leadership take charge of the game but not extensively we all know how to play the game and a few simple pings are enough no need to act all high and mighty and goes "WHY ARE YOU NOT FOLLOWING ME" shit or something.

If you watch 2k++ elo premade streams most aren't even typing commands and barking orders trying to be important, they know what they're doing and only call important stuffs and pings

in solo que, and my premades i don't see any difference on that

What I described is leadership but you think it's being "high and mighty". If you don't think it's important, then tell me, what is important? You get to do your own thing so long as you're "winning"? In that case, you are not thinking as a follower nor a team member and you are thinking as a lone wolf. The leader's goal is your goal and vice versa. His or her orders always come first and if you don't treat them as a natural part of being in a team, then you are not fit to follow because that is what a leader expects. I have played over 800 ranked games along with other teamwork-based games. I speak from years of experience.

In a game where the players are of equal skill, whichever team has the better teamwork will win. Following and leading are both equally important because communication is a two-way street. As a follower, if you decide to question an order during late game, that second of indecision can and will instantly cost you the game and decrease your chance of winning to 0%. But if you follow the order even though you may think it's bad, it at least won't be 0%. As a leader, you are responsible for every action your team makes. You must be the most alert and attentive. Your orders are not "suggestions", they are to be done right then and there.
