You're not understanding.
The rules state that you agree that you are at LEAST 18 when registering for this site. That mean's everyone who registers is required to be 18. No exceptions.

Prowl stated that he has been on this site the whole time as a minor up until today.
Therefore he broke the agreement.

I figured you understood why Jacob or anyone else mentioning that he broke the agreement and were implying that everyone who registered the site in the beginning were minors. Which is false.

It doesn't matter anyway, Jacob's not banning him. Prowl's lucky Jake is a nice guy. Because that is a serious issue - Fakku can get in trouble for having minors here.

From where I stand, users have to be 18 AT PRESENT to use the site. If they were under 18 when they registered for the boards, that's in the past. If we'd known then, we'd have banned them. That's like saying we should punish someone that just turned 18 because he looked at porn when he was 16. Nothing we can do about it now, really. Age is inferred when using the site. If people want to state otherwise, they will be banned.

I don't get it; everyone on this site agrees when they make an account that they're 18. Aren't we all adults?

I found this site when I was 17 but because I knew that this was an adult website 18+ that I decided to wait until I turned 18 before I joined otherwise I would of been apart of the community alot earlier.

It would really suck for Prowl if Jacob reset his post count to whatever posts he made AFTER he turned 18. Not saying he should, I'm just rambling.

Ziggy, like TMS says you are overthinking this. Even if jacob banned him, he could register again since he is now legal. I don't think he should lose his post count and such because of this.

This, I agree with. He didn't hurt anyone here by being underage, and Prowl IS 18 now. The worst Jacob can do is remove his post count. and I think Jacob has better things to do than to discuss if he should ban Prowl.

I don't think your understanding whats going on here because Ziggy isn't saying that Prowl should get banned and Penguin was just saying a "what if" because it would suck if something like that happened. If we had found out alot earlier that Prowl was underage then he probably would of gotten banned but we never did so he's alright especially now since he's of legal age. But I guess I also do agree with Ziggy that enforcing the rule that you must be of the legal age of 18 in order to join otherwise we'd get into some kind of trouble.

As I said to TMS in the irc:

I wasn't trying to get him banned. I had already stated that Jacob was not going to ban him.
I was only pointing out the technicality and how Prowl is lucky Jacob is a nice guy.

Because if someone breaks an agreement, it's under the discrimination of the administrators as to what they're going to do. In Jacob's case, he didn't ban him.

If Jacob was a mean old bastard, and used his rules like it was set in stone, then Prowl wouldn't be very lucky.

Even if I were to have been banned before I turned 18 I would have had it lifted yesterday anyways. I heard that was the scenerio with others who were caught before their time anyways, they were banned until they reached the proper age.

i dont get this rule or law that they make i bet there people out there that already have sex or know everything to it before they reach proper age even in America its not like the government can do anything about it but does it really matter what your age is as long as you are they thinking maturely about it? really why people worry or bother with someone else life

my opinion they have to wait for 18 years of their life just to go some website that they may not make it that kinda sux then again it only my opinion like it really gana change the world or anything
