Tokusatsu is for shows that uses computer effects and all the stunts you see.
so yes, basically Jiban is also considered Tokusatsu. Jiban is in the Metal Heroes series, next to Gavan, Sharivan, Winspector

Tokusatsu (特撮) is a Japanese term that applies to any live-action film or television drama that usually features superheroes and makes considerable use of special effects (tokusatsu literally translates as "special filming" in Japanese).
Godzilla (old film) is still considered Tokusatsu. (not the American CG one)

probably caused by relying too much on Cgs rather than Camera Effects. All Tokusatsu before 2000 used mostly Manual effects.

Lol, once you've grown up with something, it will attach to you like a leech.
Even my friend that does not watch anime or do anything Japan related WILL, I mean WILL go into nostalgic mode everytime I mention KKamen Rider Black, because Almost every guy that was born between 1987 - 1991 WILL watch that Tokusatsu

1981. Somewhat I never grew fond of those. I barely remember seeing something named Sankukai and Ultraman, but even being like 4 years old, I was like "this thing sucks..."
I enjoyed this one, but it wasn't tokusatsu... right?

I still watch Super Sentai every year.
They don't use CGI, they still rely on the Camera effects and wires as much as they can, but even then, you can tell they keep it as old school as possible.

kamen rider black was cool, but kamen rider kuuga is better. I wonder if there is a tokusatsu themed porn/hentai?
