Absolutely not. If both are available, fine. If only LQ is provided, only people with ancient computers are pleased. If only HQ is provided, then get with the times, people.

Quality in pictures I'm fine with. You can only go far in quality of picture where any further becomes stupid. Its 20 mbs. I'm sure you can spare that.
The only problem is the anime side. 170MB vs HD 300MB. Tight on space? get the LD, if not go for the HD given your connection can dl it w/o taking years.

1500 to 1600 pixels high per page seems to be the standard for a doujin scan these days, and given the size of monitors that's appropriate. Any smaller and I'm dissapointed given the size of my monitor.
