Totally Newb Question

appologies for the stupid question/s. sorry too if this has been asked.
look, i've liked hentai a loooong time for the usual obvious reasons, but i've never really bothered reading them until fairly recently. mostly i just look at the pictures ;D.
i am the type person who likes to watch porn for the STORY as much as the sex. i WANT to know why the horny housewife hires the plumber to lay pipe or why the cheerleader wants extra sausage on her pizza from the delivery guy. so i try to read the hentai for the stories as well, not just for the pretty pictures.
now my question is, why are most H stories hard to understand? i realize some of the translators may not be fluent in english, but is there another reason? like retaining some sort of the original japanese (or where evr the creator is from)culture?
i hope this does not sound ungrateful. i know translators put in tremendous amounts of work into each manga. i am just genuinely curious and maybe this understanding will make me appreciate the artform better.
there're more questions where that came from: (like why the heck do most female characters in H look like they're uncomfortable when having sex? is that a japanese thing? most don't look like they're enjoying or having fun.)but i'll be happy if someone can answr the first question.

The stories aren't hard to understand. It's just that maybe you don't read closely r something. Well, I understand the story though since I read slowly and look at artwork at the same time.. Depends on you.

i'll read a few to come up with examples...

OHHH.. the dialouges. Well, they make it how they want to since they ARE fan translating. It's just like Horriblesubs translations. Horriblesubs translate because they want to right? Even if the dialog is kinda off for you at least you know what they are saying.

This kind of question didn't need to be in IB. It could go in Random.
I'm also waiting for those examples.

didn't know where else to put it. its a trivial question and i didn't want to post it in other more "serious" boards. i mean the board is called "incoherent babbling". i assumed it meant "trivial topics".
re:examples...
why is it when you're looking for something you can't find it? aaaargh! :(

Well, IB is for fun topics and non-sense. Random would be like fun and serious. And Serious Discussion is serious.
re:exmaples
Did you download it?

dialouge mistranslations are kinda rare on FAKKU, or at least for the doujin I read.i don't mean mistranslations. i don't speak or read japanese (or whatever origin that particular work was/is). so i wouldn't know if it was mis-translated or not. i mean its more of re-working the dialog into more natural/readable english. or is that too much? too far from the original intent?
damn. i'm probably saying it all wrong and sounding like an ungrateful asshole. again, i speaking from TOTAL IGNORANCE, i'm trying to learn to appreciate the stories.

gotcha. ah well, you live and learn...
nah i didn't bother downloading. (i don't want to fill up my pc anymore than i have to)
but i hope i got my point across. its just... odd trying to read it. for me, its not as easy reading this stuff as, say, american/english comics or books. not to mention reading right to left... :D

Do you mean the use of American Idioms and Phrases, like "That's the bees knees," and you know that's not the exact translation?
Or
Do you mean the complete vulgarization of a normal H. (Like hentai isn't vulgar?) I mean like the dialogue has words like, 'fuck' and 'shit' and you know that's not right because it's just a little kid saying?
