You guys know that mmo stands for massively multiple online game. How is that not one? its on online game that tones of people log in to play

league of legends is a "Dota" or a "MOBA" what ever you want to call it.

Yeah yeah, but MMOs as we all know work differently. By definition it fits, but the idea is only 5x5. And mostly, there has been some talk about how Riot created the term MOBA to create monopoly on the genre(or somenthing, can't remember, old discussion).
I remember Dota getting a name for it's genre, and there was another too...

So it's mostly a thing from the companies. The name is the less important, they have a different gameplay and that's it.
