Except for pariah, I also have an equipment that makes it impossible to target the card with instants, enchantments, or abilities, etc.
So I go Cho manno + Pariah + that = invincible armor.

Youmustmean whispersilk cloth.
there are some ways to cancel out that, for example my Blightspeaker does not do damage, but makes you "lose life" which is unaffected by Pariah.
