Because potatoes are in the nightshade family, and eating too many of them raw is poisonous.

Just a snack in between. I won't eat a kilo of it at once.
Poison in small doses can be used to make the body resistant

I think raw cauliflower is a lot more delicious then raw potatoes though. <3
