Volunteering

So I've decided that while I work on bettering myself, it would be good to build a resume. I've decided to start volunteering at my local food bank, I start my volunteer work next Wednesday, when the food bank opens each week. Hopefully I can help people out, and figure out what kind of person I want to be along the way.

I don't mind if you guys don't care about any of this, just thought I would put it out there. Putting this on the internet is helping me gather my determination to see it through.

Volunteering is definetly good. I use to volunteer at a retirement home before I became too busy. I know it sounds corny, but getting involved does actually make you happier, as long as you're devoted and actually want to volunteer.

I volunteer at the local Library. Volunteer work is definitely rewarding provided you're not treated like crap while you do it.

Don't get shanked. Or get shanked. Whatever suits you.

I volunteer at my local charity shop. Definitely a plus on any CV/resume.
