I believe you mistake being respected for being liked, they are not the same thing. If I have to trade off doing what I like/what is necessary for being the most loved moderator I would gladly take that trade, that is the burden that is required of me.

I made it sound harder on me than it is but for the most part I ban people from time to time and users call me a tyrant, not much of a burden.

I think the dicknose is saying it would be a step down from Global Mod to just regular Mod.

Like a section mod? We don't do that anymore, I think it was Jakes way of showing us he didnt trust tegumi or myself with power(this was right after he was betrayed).

No, I believe I got it right. Do members not mock you from time to time? That's more of a sign of disrespect. Its harmless teasing, so I wouldn't go as far as to say that you're the least liked. If that was the case, no one would have fun messing around with you.

I'm more open with you guys about what goes on around here than perhaps Jake would like but I think a policy of transparency is best for the most part. That is to say it only involves the forums and what not, the business of Fakku(book and t shirts) is his to do with as he pleases.



Mock me sure, but I don't think most of it is out of disrespect, more of a "giving me shit" which I return. Some of it is disrespect, and most of those people tend to end up on my radar more often than not, which some end up regretting. I'm making myself sound way more threatening than I am, most of the time when I start to focus someone who throws a lot of hate my way they end up breaking a rule themselves and I just sit back and watch them implode.

The Tranquility and Hibia "hacking" incident. It's pretty well know that both trusted mods at one point tried to steal Fakku from Jake, and were semi successful, thankfully Jake got it back. The details are not mine to tell but I can tell you it led to a chance in the way Jacob trusted his staff and other members of the community.

Well.. that certainly explains why I don't see Hibia anymore. o.o Good thing they failed after all.

I always knew I was out of touch with the community, but I didn't know it was to this extent. I've been here since 2008 and I'm completely oblivious to that event ever happening. The username Tranquility rings a bell, but I have no idea who Hibia is. The summary of this event reminds me of the story of God sending Lucifer to hell after he attempted to take over the throne.
