That's just bullshit. Even the SSS in Angel Beats mostly know her by her "nickname". Both names should be valid to use since we didn't even know her real name for half of the damned anime.

With this it is also perfectly reasonable to think you accept the name Tenshi as well. With this single sentence you did nothing but say that Kanade Tachibana is a valid name to claim her by, not disapproving Tenshi at all, meaning your claim was invalid to begin with and you knew it. Don't mind this post though, just further making sure she doesn't get stolen from a guy that's not even here now.

Well just to say in the spirit of protecting that Asuka claim, the first claim left it at Asuka Langley and since the creato rof the character cant even agree on her last name with it being Soryu in one and Shikinami in the other, you could consider that Asuka Langley is her only true name. Besides, if your marrying a girl, most girls take your last name, so why should their last name matter. 8D
