Outside of the Eclair incident I usually feel that way about my picks. Any small list of options usually remains fairly untouched throughout the game which helps. Though maybe with the lower post limit on this one that might change.

aww must it really be 50 posts cause there isnt much to post about that hasnt already been mentioned and i really don't feel like stating 50 opinions

Asides from one of two, even the outliers that I like get claimed.

Futafapper keeps nabbing Fran Madaraki before I can. I never try her before round three, since I've eyes on fairly well-known girls.


My first game and 4/5 of the ones I wanted were shot.

As the "implied guy with 100 posts and no avatar", I thought I'd reply to some of these posts.

First of all, I'd like to say that I actually do sympathize with you. Althought I didn't post in this thread until now, I've been reading the replies in real-time and it was quite obvious from your signature image that we'd be rivals in this game. While waiting, I thought about the possibility of losing and how disappointed it would make me feel. I knew that any anger directed at you would be unjustified, but I also knew that no amount of rational thinking would lessen it.

So, yes, I can imagine how much you don't like me at this moment, and how you feel that I don't deserve this because of the lack of avatar and quite low post count (more on that later).

Regarding the post limit - I've noticed the lower limit for this game when Waar first mentioned it (2012/11) so I didn't force myself to write another 100 posts for the 250 limit. As to why the post count is so low, I usually lurk a lot, have some psychological issues and thus rarely post. I don't have an avatar or signature because I don't want to put a random image cropped in 20s just so I don't tick some people off with the default image, and I haven't yet found/made something I consider worthy.



I fail to see how ninjaing is unfair? Also, would it be considered ninjaing if I was 15s late and you posted first? -.-

I thought about putting an image, but after quite some searching I couldn't find one I found appropriate, so I resorted to procrastination and decided to edit one later if I won. I.e. I'll get to it when I get some sleep and Circe makes the official list.

Also, regarding the game itself, Waar sort of implied at ~9:00 CET (~3:00 EST) that it would start in 14-15 hours from then (i.e. 17:00-18:00), and there was no chance I was going to allow myself to lose, so I've been Control-R-ing for well over 3 hours without a break (with less than 3 seconds between each refresh for 90+ minutes). I believe you stated you prepared your text at about 17:30, so I guess this shows at least slightly more dedication (or yandere-esque obsession) on my part.

I also see picking secondary wives as a sort of infidelity (which is why I decided I wouldn't pick any, regardless of the outcome), and also reminds me of that Nash equilibrium scene in A Beautiful Mind...

But if you want to quantify and compare my love for Yuno, consider that I
- have a Yuno dakimakura, which I sleep with every night
- have put Yuno's images on every available surface (as far as computer screens go)
- was extremely depressed and cried for 3 days after the anime ending, until I finally read the Happy End
- would always place her happiness before my own, even if that meant she wouldn't be my waifu

tl;dr You can be mad all you want (which is human nature, after all), but I'm not giving her up now no matter what.
