Yeah, it's not like I have my waifus in my signature or anything either.

Rather than some broken system, why not duke it out in a deathmatch arena? Seems like people would actually do it.

Yes, but if it's official, we can sell merchandise.

As long as I can get my waifu I don't really care what you do with the game.

If you can steal someones waifu then that seems like it ruins the whole point of the game. There's no guarantee that someone is going to target your waifu- or that the ones targetting you (under my proposed rules) would even be able to.
Also- TMS's truncated number of waifus could also make those considering making use of the NTR rule seriously think about whether it's even worth going after someone else's waifu at the cost of taking up a third of their allotted amount.
It's the risk. The uncertainty.
One way of generating interesting in the waifu game is to make it more interesting. A regular game where you wait for the round to start, and then make your claim and then bam- Bob's your uncle and that's that.
But this new mechanic (requiring tweaking and testing, granted) rewards those who are more engaged in the game and- being based off Rep- the community as a whole.
It also means that- for once- Rep actually matters in something. And again- not posts because people ca just spam the forums with worthless crap to boost their counts to try and one-up each other.
I'm just guessing here- but I wager that most users here like playing games; are avid gamers- presenting these new ideas and mechanics encourage more active participation and make the game more cerebral.
And anyways- what's the harm in trying?

NTR rule could be cool. I mean, it gives people a way to get their favorite waifu if they can't manage to be sitting in front of their computer when the game starts, which is cool. I feel like people will make a point of stealing waifus just to troll.
Maybe each player has a limit of NTRs or theres a way to block an NTR?

Well, I only came up with the NTR rule on the spot, so I haven't figured everything. Lemme see if I can hone it summat.
-You must have played at least three games to be eligible for the NTR rule. That goes for stealing and being stolen from- so newbies are safe.
-Higher Reps can NTR from anyone with a lower rep.
-Greater Neg Reps can NTR from lesser neg reps.
-Positive and Negative reppers can't touch each other- Zeros are fair game for all.
-Any waifu can only be NTR'd a maximum of 2 times. Total throughout the entire game.
-An NTR'd waifu- now effectively a fuckslave commodity, can be given to someone else.
-Which means, if you get NTR'd, you can try to convince someone even more powerful to NTR them, and have them give your waifu back. Or they can be a total ass and just keep them for themselves, divorce them, or even just give 'em back from who they NTR'd anyways.
-You cannot stop an NTR, simply because I cannot think of any feasible way to execute that. Your best bet is to try an get someone powerful on your side to steal your waifus back for you- as mentioned above.
-I'm thinking users can only NTR twice as well. But I'm thinking twice per round rather than the entire game. Not entirely sure about it.
This may seem all quite complicated at first- but I think people have the brains to keep track of who did what to whom and whatnot.
If we want to be fair, we can set up a poll to try it or not. And since a lot of people kinda roam exclusively in CTFG or IB, we can make the poll in both sections.
I'm not even in charge of this damned game. TMS, some feedback, please.

My idea for stopping it was to catch the NTR in a certain amount of time. Say the person trying to NTR announces it in the thread. The person who owns the waifu has (for example) 6 hours to quote the person who is trying to NTR them and stop them in the act. That could add a whole new level off strategy to the timing of the NTR. And it kinda makes sense, realistically speaking... those who pay attention to their waifus have a lesser chance of them being stolen away.

Of course it will be fun- all my ideas are super genius and eminently sexy. People just don't know it yet.
And just because people ask Mike and Jacob doesn't mean they have to respond. That's the beauty of the system- there's no guarantees.
For all we know- the rule could be implemented but then nobody actually ends up using it for some reason. It is fully possible for those who dislike the rule to make pacts and agreements to help each other out- or possibly turn traitor just to incite chaos.
