Waifu Game X - News/Discussion

How about giving the "one waifu immunity" boon to new/incoming players (1-2 games, perhaps?), while having older users (who participated in 3 games) using the "loyalty privilege" if they kept some picks for a longer period of time?

EDIT: I back the idea of game being done more often. The breaks in-between take too much time, at any rate.

While I haven't brought this up in a while and would likely not have implemented it if I had been chosen to run the game, in this case I would suggest bringing back full reclaims, though (possibly only for every second game). The current timing has found a pretty good balance between frequent enough resets and letting people enjoy having their chosen girls. While this idea would probably help boost activity, I'm not sure it's a good idea to force people to give up their waifu after such a short time.

Putting aside the NTR concept for a little bit now, how would you guys feel about a full reset for this game?

Not any different from the previous games, is it? The lottery pretty much meant that for most players, so I don't really see a problem there (even if I'd always like some reclaims :D).

In what sense? As in all the Waifus you claimed are up for grabs or that we're going to act like this is a completely new game separate from Waar's?

The former: everyone loses the waifus claimed in the previous game, and start from scratch. This is usually what happens most of the time, but as stated before, reclaims have happened.

I still think there should be an opt out for NTR I mean the whole concept of NTR is against every fiber of my being......just how I was raised I suppose.

One of my Ideas was to make reclaims a reward for long standing player like a player that has participated in 'x' number of games is allowed a reclaim if they can provide proof that they have played long enough. This would also help keep newfags from reclaiming a girl and disappear forever.

I dont really see a full reset as necessary seeing as we pretty much just had one in the last game, but I can understand why you would so....yeah.

You know, as well as having the ability of steal someone's waifu, there should also be an ability to protect waifus.

But that's just me though.

Thing is, I can't really imagine a way to protect waifus that easily, other than not taking part or getting immunity by being loyal or new.

OK, how about this: you can opt to get NTR immunity for a cost? Pay the price, and you won't have to worry about getting NTR'd.

Now what this price will be is yet to be decided. I was thinking something along the lines of waifu slots: do you take the risk of getting ALL the waifus you want with the chance of them getting NTR'd, or will you opt for, say, half the slots you'd normally be allotted (aka 2 or 3 for the entire game).

And on another topic, what do you guys think the post limit for this game should be, if at all?

Look at the bright side: NTR isn't really anything new to the game. Wouldn't you have felt NTR'd if someone managed to get Kirino seconds before you in the first round?

Also I think the post count requirement should remain the same, or if it has to increase then 100.

Will try to make it happen to add some new spice to the game, but only if I can refine the rules enough for it.

As for the post count... I think staying at 50 is fine as it is, so that it encourages people to be active enough in the forums.

How many Waifu slots and NTRs are you thinking?

I agree with the 3 waifu limit in exchange for an opt out seems pretty fair and post count should 150 since most people got the free 150 post from Jacob even if they were lurkers.
