Pump in the case where a characters name was just revealed and someone claimed their fake nickname do they have to claim again ??????we had that last time with Celestia Ludenberg.
Yeah, that's why I created the Debut Season Exception.

I think you should have to reclaim your if you just now found out her real name and if you really love her you should have to reclaim should be necessary.
Just edit in her real name within a Spoiler.
I looked at Kapyi's claims and none seemed to have other names. Judging by him saying "i think you should have to reclaim" I think he's looking for a NTR chance.
If the claim was made with the only name they were known for at the time, it is a valid claim, completely safe from NTR.
Adding in her true name through edit is simply insurance. Whilst not strictly required, it just saves everyone a lot of trouble.
K just making sure

Jack how about limiting the amount of waifus one can have and disabling divorcing. So that you can stay faithful.

I think the number of waifus is alright.
With a base of 3 for everyone, and then +1 for every 2 years or 500 posts, with a cap of 5.
Seems pretty fair. Keeping to the 5 simply because that's what we're used to. Wouldn't want to potentially alienate longtime players.
As for disabling divorces- it's an interesting idea, but I think I'll keep it.
People often make waifu choices on impulse.
You wouldn't want to get locked in on a spur-of-the-moment Vegas wedding, would ya?

Keeping the amount of waifus to 3 for all users would higher the tension (and hopefully the popularity). If you then remove divorces, it will make users pick a waifu with more thought into it. Except the old timer who always pick the same grill for every game.
I, for one, is for waiting for the game to become more interesting. Making it competitive would boost that.

I want to make it more competitive, definitely.
But I'm not sure if reducing the number of waifus would do that.
I've expressed this concern before, but it's the situation of supply/demand.
More stuff keeps coming out all the time, while all the great old stuff still exists.
The number of potential great waifus increases exponentially quicker than the number of players.
Traffic on the site in general needs to see a great influx of users who'll actually stick around if there's any chance of them to participate in the game.
So- for the upcoming Christmas game- I'll need to figure out a highly successful advertising campaign of sorts.
Somebody brought up the idea of a Mote-Mote with the waifus, which I've strongly considered myself since last game.

Random Idea: Similar to Art's Mechs, perhaps I'll throw in a "Bro" round. A genuine all-round cool cat. An hero. A pre cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything. Thanks Pump, but I've had that covered since round one.
Spoiler:
Just kidding, what a hopeless loser. My husbando is trash.

This pretty much. Current game had none. Also I'm up for a complete removal of post requirements or other rules preventing lurkers to join in. All the game needs is more players.
Also I don't see how more waifus = less players, if that's what you're implying.

More Waifus does equal less competition, and competition is what makes the game much more fun. But I completely agree, restrictions need to be completely taken away from new users to encourage them to take part, post count doesn't encourage forum participation, forum participation (in this case the waifu game) encourages participation.

More new users would be better if it doesn't take the form of more tards who claim before pump or more bad claims/multiple claim and claiming owed waifus. No post count but join time restrictions. Round 5 start date could be a good join by time. Rule check for all new users mandatory.

IDK.
