For the "hentai series", does it matter if the work featuring the waifu actually has hentai in it? For example, Fate/Whatever series is hentai (the original VNs at least), but a lot of its spin-offs aren't. Basically, I'm asking if Jeanne counts towards the counter :v

Actually, that would go for everyone in terms of getting the bonus. You can usually tell, but some solid evidence just makes things easier for everyone, and I don't exactly keep up-to-date on all the hentai.
