I'm pretty sure most guys aren't in to yaoi, since its marketed towards females. That doesn't mean its wrong or weird for a guy to like it though. Usually its the guys who like yuri and the girls who like yaoi, though I like them both equally. I hope you get some guys to answer your question, I'd like to see their answers too.

While women have been scientifically proven to respond to all kinds of porn genres (woman/man, man/man, woman/woman, and even apes going at it), men are more likely to only respond to the kind that is in alignment with their sexual orientation - straight men only respond to straight porn, gay men gay porn, etc and so forth. That is probably why it doesn't appeal to men as much to wander through the yaoi section of the site.

As for your comment about women preferring lesbian porn, if we're talking about "regular" porn... it's actually quite unappetizing in my opinion, since so-called lesbian porn is mostly directed and produced for a straight male audience. Often, the girls involved aren't even really into girls, so it's more awkward then it is rather appealing to watch.

As for me, I watch whatever. I have my preferences, but if my usual stuff isn't doing the job I'll switch to something new to see if it does the trick.

I'm a heterosexual male, and I find yaoi fine in most cases. While I stay away from regular gay porn (I hardly touch any regular porn though), I usually have no problems with yaoi. It also seems to me that yaoi usually has better plot development then most other hentai, but that's just from what I've read.
While I don't fap to it, I enjoy it when has a romantic plot. Rutta to Kodoma is a good example. The story is freaking adorable and even I think Kodama is cute, probably because of how feminine he is. Anyway that's my view on it. Sorry for long post.
