What do you prefer original or series?

I prefer series, I like characters hooking up that I've wanted to. Also there's some pretty funny gag manga out there that references things that happened in a series as well.

I like series because you can bet a more interesting storyline and be more inveloped and get atatched to the characters

I voted original but I do think series are good some of the time if i know the series.

Original. A nice plot with nice scenes/characters are all I could hope for in a doujin.

I like series when it is an anime that I have seen and the artwork is good, but prefer originals the rest of the time.

Agreed. Some of the best original series w/ bondage oftentimes make some great hentai anime. I'd like to see the H-manga "Escape Creator" made into an anime.

It really depends on what I'm in the mood for. It seems that with original you get the highest levels of creativity, and some really good stuff gets created without any restraints. Some of my absolute favorite doujin's are original, so I would have to say I prefer them. But that doesn't mean I hate ones based on a series, especially if it's based on a series I really enjoy. The only problem is that I'm usually not too satisfied with how the characters were handled. Since series-based doujin is usually from a non-H source, the doujin writer usually has to write some really odd reason for the characters to be gettin' it on. Now that may be easy for something like Rosario + Vampire, where you are always 2 seconds away from it turning into porn anyway, but other stuff isn't so easy.

Usually the approach is over simplified. The main protagonist runs into whoever his main-girl is, and all of a sudden she is alot more open to 'gettin' it on'. It never quite seems right, and despite the fact that I should be concentrating on the boobs, or whichever, I'm pissed off that there isn't some sort of genuine reason for the sudden slut-ification.

Originals by a landslide. Gunma's Love Selection and Yamatogawa's Tayu Tayu Series are perfect examples. Quality is top notch. On the other hand, the art of series doujins will almost never top the animes they are based on. But if the doujins were drawn by the very same artists that drew the anime series... that would be so hot :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Also, I find in general, with a series, I get disappointed by either the animation or the doujin.

I prefer series. I find it alot more enjoyable if i already know the characters over original characters that i just learned of. Also if i know a tsundere character, i like looking for a doujin featuring her. Is it so wrong to love watching tsundere chicks turning all soft under pleasure?

I enjoy an orginal hentai better.
