What do you think of vanilla ?

Vanilla is easily one of my favorite tags- As long it has an acceptable base or story or at least some legitimate dialog.

Completely untrue, I would dare say the majority of good artists draw vanilla with a few really good ones doing ntr/rape primarily.

Ever wondered why it's called Vanilla?

It's okay depending on the art and what other things it has to compliment it.

In terms of ice cream I'd rather eat French Vanilla or Butter Pecan.

Well, the one with art styles that I like anyway. It's hard to find someone who draws mainly vanilla and does good ahegao faces at the same time.

Well that and there is not many tentacle vanilla so maybe I'm just a sick bastard.

That's not so much the art as the scenario. I can appreciate that certain settings or fetish play only appear in your favorite style but in all honesty you can't believe vanilla loses in overall quality or style of art. I guess I'm also biased so perhaps its best if we just go with our taste is just different. I do want to add I'm a pretty big fan of shindo l's fucked to mind break face.

Don't get me wrong, I like vanilla too. I'm not that big of a fan of NTR. Most of the artist who's art style I prefer though (Nagare Ippon and SHINDOL in particular) tend to do NTR. They've also done vanilla too, just not very often.
Not to mention, I really don't think monster girls fall under vanilla because monster girls aren't normal to begin with. People get the impression that vanilla means sweet and touching stories. Rather vanilla means normal or plain, as in regular stories about a boy and a girl who do it because they love each other (or maybe two boys or two girls, I don't judge).

But rather than get into this whole rant of what is vanilla and what is not, let's just put it that this is my favorite doujin.

I like that artist(his time stop piece in particular) but it's more of a cg set than a doujin/manga. Fujiya Honten (Thomas) and HYOCO ROAD (probably not the artists names) are among my favorite in terms of art and they work primarily in vanilla.

I would say my favorite artist that happens to do vanilla would be Maruta. Mainly cause it's actually pretty realistic (at least as far as a hentai manga could be) because the guys don't have horse wieners and the girls aren't super kawaii desu. That and Oomori Harusame (28_Works) for the same reason.

I treat it as comedy or high fantasy. I love it, anyway.

It's alright. I don't prefer NTR over Vanilla or vice versa. If I get boner from it, I can usually fap to it. It's just about your preference.

Vanilla is Vanilla. It's plain, it's basic. Obviously you get some cheap vanilla but some are very good. Some people like to branch out into other flavours/genres.

And yes I was talking about both hentai and Ice Cream at the same time.
