I don't think Syfy really counts as being part of the movie industry..or at least, not a big player in it

Asylum makes some of the worst, most ridiculous movies and because of that they are hilarious to watch.
They have quite the reputation to make movies of this kind.
And as Jesus said they are hardly apart of the 'mainstream' movie industry. If you want to see the main problem watch After Earth.
