Shrooms were infinitely more fun. I guess most of it is atmosphere. When I did booms there was 7 of us and everyone was psyched and we literally had a mansion to just be high in for the whole night. Last night it was just me and one other guy who wasn't on acid and I wasn't really that psyched. All it really did was give me some weird ass dreams and make me feel like crap today.

Yeah, that sounds like a bad trip..not bad as in a horrifying life long nightmare. But just a not very fun one. Try acid by yourself. I got lost in a picture for about 4 hours when I did it.

Mescaline is insane. I'll admit I only had like have of a hit and I didn't get the full effects, but from what I experienced it can only get better.

If you've ever been to a Dead show or maybe any show that attracts hippies, you'll know its like a fucking drug flea market there. I bought like an ounce of weed, a hit of mescaline (I would have gotten more, but the guy only had 1 left, a shit load of acid, a few ounces of shrooms, a block of hash, and some opium; which was only around $300 altogether. It was the most incredibly insane thing I've ever experienced.

I beg to differ, heroin might be extremely dangerous, but its one hell of a drug. I used to be an addict. Heroin is synthesized from morphine which is the principal active agent in opium. Since its been cultivated and synthesized, heroin is more powerful, but opium still gives you a euphoric feeling that's, well, just great.

Heroin-is processed from morphine, a naturally occurring substance extracted from the seedpod of the Asian poppy plant.
Opium-the immature seed pods of opium poppies and usually contains 10% morphine.

I was cleaning out my brother's room and I looked in one of the drawers and to my surprise I found a shit load of different herbs. One of them had blue and white persian poppy seeds. So, last week I took them packed a bowl and smoked some. Smoking them isn't the best way to go about it, but I wasn't about to go to the trouble of extracting it. I finished the bowl and I felt pretty fucking pleasant.

Basically, the British were smuggling opium into China from British controlled India. China was trying to enforce its drug laws, but as you said, the British were warmongers and it erupted into armed conflict.
