No, you don't feel them. The only time they'd be uncomfortable is if you buy a size too small. Girls wear thongs all the time mostly because of the type of pants girls wear. Panty lines etc etc.

I've only worn a thong once... I think they aren't very comfy... I preffer low-rider panties that squeeze my butt... they make it look smaller. ^^;
