Fakku's forums have already reached their peak, now the forums are slowing down. Glad I was able to participate during the high traffic period. Lots of new faces coming and going, some staying for a bit and leaving, while some showed up and stayed for a few years. Times change and people's interests change, I myself am almost done with anime, can't seem to get invested enough in any series. They all feel, and look like stuff I've already seen before a hundred times over. But at least good times were had, and that's what matters the most.

I'll make a new topic starring konata soon.

I am curious but not

I've been feeling like this for a while. Guess that's why TVtropes exist. But I still watch it in the hopes I find the rare gem among the trash.

I miss it too, now I hardly even visit Fakku.

Back when we first met everybody and started talking was the best. Chatango to skype and now discord. Time definitely has gone by.

and every few weeks there's a thread about how much they prefer the old fakku.

For me, its been like this ever since Zack got banned (er, kicked himself out so I heard). Once he was gone, all the cool kids started leaving or lurking.

Seems like a lot of people peaced out when it became a pay site, amoung other reasons. 2007 was a special time in anime and the anime community for a lot of people. I think those people have moved on because life's a beach and anime is just bad VN adaptations now. Fakku isn't going anywhere, tho, so maybe it'll pick up again someday.

Unfortunately, I think I have found all the gems I'm gonna find.

Most moved on because they grew up and have real life shit to worry about, like taxes, and life insurance.

As a wealthy Canadian I will probably be able to stay a while.

I stopped coming here ages ago for some reason. Slowly came back to see if anything interesting was happening/ check my notifications, and just kept doing that.
The change to paid also put me back a bit more, because lack of funds. Although, might be able to afford the sub now tbh. Getting more and more tempting, but first I have to pay off a few things, and get some stuff sorted
