why?

IB users post a certain ways and it can take awhile to get the hang of it. Plus a lot of insult are thrown around in which the usual's think nothing of them but new users see them as attacks and get butthurt. Then there is the fact that 9/10 if a new user makes a thread, users either harass the OP or derail it just because the OP isn't following the IB "textbook procedures". Some users may deny it but majority of the time, seeing a thread made by a new user, automatically disables their ability to give fucks anymore.

Blunt and honest truth. Personally I see no problem with this because it's what keeps all the users that post in a similar tradition "IB form" and gets rid of the users that don't.

Long answer short, don't turn into a Sly Ninja or Casualhaku and you'll be fine..probably

For me it's usually if they have no avi or can't spell. Or they make a bad thread, which is usually how it is, and the main reason. Or their retarded e-attitude.
