If you don't have to face your family, your sobriety is not as much of a problem as some of ours.
I'm thinking of doing opiates again.

Its where adults get a little goofy, you might say. They start taking off their clothes, for no reason, and uh, wrestle around with people they don't know, that they normally wouldn't do. Also, everyone meant to say 'poo faced.' The other word is dirty, and should only be said when you mail doesn't arrive on time/wife is nagging at you/etc.
