Ever wonder why commercials are so unrealistic but most people would just ignore this fact?-

People ignore the fact that it's unrealistic because it's for the purpose of entertainment. Commercials are pretty fucking boring, you know?

Curious and Wondering
People like unrealistic commercials sometimes because it's entertaining. Not too many people like products who take themselves too realistically or seriously in commercials.
Sometimes unrealism can bring home the point the commercial creator wants. A means to an end.

About the actual topic: Commercials are meant to get the viewer's attention and make them remember the commercial (as well as the name of the product) so that when they're shopping, they'll remember the product and buy it.
Unrealistic commercials are easier to remember because it's stuff that isn't normal. You see a person using an air freshener, big deal, but you see a bear using an air freshener, and you're all, "Woah, what the fuck, man! I am freaking out!! The world no longer makes sense!!!"
So yeah, crazy commercials are more likely to be remembered.
