Japanese Censorship Laws.

As above: Japan adopted Victorian laws in the Meiji period of 'modernisation', and the Americans neglected to change the laws on porn censorship when governing post-WW2. The law has remained almost identical, only changing to show pubic hair in stead of the full mosaic, and more recently allowing some scenes in foreign films to pass. You can also argue that the interesting situations and methods of shooting are the result of such censorship (not being able to just zoom in on the goods the whole time), though, so swings and roundabouts. :P

Censorship is unncessary and pointless we know what they'er doing so why not show it! Also having a lot of black lines or mosaic in hentai is a buss kill. Though I have to admit some artists are pretty sneaky by having a ghost of a black line that dosen't really cover anything but still meets the censorship laws.

It's not really the law. I think Japanese guys saw the future if we censor our porn and hentai, we can get big license money from other countries uncensoring them. lol :p
