Why is there so much Amaburi?

It almost feels like Amagi Brilliant Park has more doujinshi than the rest of the 2014 animes combined. This seems so weird considering we had some huge hits like NGNL early in the year and Amaburi only came out last season. Anyone know the reason why this is?

It was popular with most japanese conventions this season as well as one of the most heavily scanlated, but more varied series will be uploaded in due time don't worry (^^)
Edit: I also took a quick look through and there is less doujin for the series NGNL in comparison for whatever reason; could be due to what's popular, what artist/circles are drawing, what is scanlated, etc.

Because the artists wanted to draw it? I don't know what kind of answer you're expecting. I agree there's a fuckton of Amagi Brilliant Park doujinshi coming out, but that's because the artists in Japan made it that way. Clearly it's popular.

I'm pretty sure there's still more KanColle than anything else.
But ABP does lend itself remarkably well to doujinshi. The show is right on the edge of degenerating into soft porn at times, and yet a lot of the relationships are barely explored. There's a whole load of opportunities for other sexual situations, and a wide cast of interesting ladies of various types (although the range of men available could use some work, if you're not into furries).
The stuff basically writes itself. I'm not at all surprised that a lot of authors have gone with it.
