Winter is depressing

It becomes cold.
No one likes the cold if they aren't used to it.
I hate the cold. I like the autumn chill but hate the freezing winds of Jack Frost.
The grass turns brownish and the fallen leaves turn grey
It leaves gray and brown trees
The world lacks color this time of year.
The Christmas decorations add so much life and color... But only in December
That color comes down starting January.
It becomes cloudy more often, obscuring beautiful blue skies with blankets of grey and white

It is depressing. At least in the southern part of the states.
I don't live in a city. I live in a suburb.
I don't get to see the city lights at night.
It is rare to see snow down here.
I'm lucky if it happens more than one day a year

But when it does snow, damn is it a beautiful sight with as little snow as we get. And the clear skies after...
Winter can be a beautiful thing... Just, not so much where I live
And I wish the beauty of winter would visit more often to offset the saddening colorless visuals.

This is why I hate winter. The "winter chills" my dad calls it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I much prefer the cold of winter vs the extreme heat of summer.

Then again I live in California, so there pretty much is only two seasons here: Summer and Fall. It rarely if ever snows here, and even now it's warm enough to wear shorts as I sleep.

I personally prefer darker days cause the sun gets in my eyes. Also more clouds equals less heat. It's much easier to warm up then it is to cool down.

Lived in Michigan my whole life. You just learn to embrace the suck.

I got Caribbean blood in me, so I naturally hate the cold. Last summer sucked since it never reached 90 degrees where I'm from. I guess an ice age is getting ready to start, because its getting colder in shorter intervals.

I have to say it's much easier to fix extreme cold than extreme heat.

For heat there's only so many clothes you can take off in public while... well... besides like the limits of your body there is always an option to put on another coat. Anyone hobbling around with a lot of coats is probably the cutest thing ever anyway.

Florida heat sucks, but if you possibly have family here I suggest you come and enjoy the.. 60-70 degree weather. ;)

I hate summer during summer, and miss the winter.

I like the winter, spring and autumn follow (I only like summer when the sun isn't out). I like how smooth sheet of snow looks all over the place (bump, but drawn out bumps, making it smooth), the coldness, and the not leaving home as much aspect.

Yes, I love color, but I love snow/winter as well.

I hate winter, can barely leave the house and wearing so many layers means moving is hard, then when you do go outside there's people sneezing and coughing on your face. Ugh.

I want to try fucking in the cold. It seems like a good test of thermodynamics of the cool outside versus the warmth of fucking. How is it for anyone who has tried it?

I don't even have winter....

For the past two years I hated winter because I was the one out there clearing snow in the Army. Now that I'm not an army man anymore I can enjoy the snow and the sights once more.

I love both the cold and the heat equally. They both have there advantages and disadvantages.

Winter is a very symbolic season.

Cold? Its warm and comfortable here.

I know winter is diffrent in diffrent parts of the world... I just don't like the winters I am stuck with in Georgia.
