Weed is pretty amazing plant. While smoking it is awesome, I also am for using it for other purposes as well. Hell in my opinion the only reason it was made illigal in 1937 was because the oil industry was feeling threatened from hemp oil (which the original Ford model T ran on). Imagine, instead of this oil crisis and stuff, we could just be going off on hemp oil to sustain our automotive needs.

Watch the movie Totally Baked. While it is for the most part humorous, it still manages to show some good points of weed (besides just smoking it). Note that some of the facts stated above may be deemed incorrect, don't really care, just trying to make my point across. Either way check out the movie.

I'm not a pothead or anything but it's really a shame we don't use weed more openly and for more things to. After watching Totally Baked (which is pretty pro legalization), I was still impressed and awed by how many uses marijuana actually has. Paper, fuel, medicine, food, stronger fiber than cotton (for clothes and stuff), preservative, strengthen concrete, hell even as a dietary suppliment, hemp oil has 80% of essential fatty acids, and compared to alcohol and tobacco which is legal, have yet to have any reports of death.

I'm going off here, but basically I'm saying, we need to make weed more open.
