I been biten by a couple of spiders before but i still dont see dem as dangerous insect to humans..... As long as they're not venomous. Though..... They still creep me out a bit, but i haven't seen a one for a while already.
Now...the only insects i truly dislike and absolutely avoid are wasp/hornets and centipedes.

PUMPJACK'S WAR AGAINST IGNORANCE: ANIMAL CLASSIFICATION- Creepy Crawlies
-Spiders are not insects. They are Arachnids- in fact- the class is named after them, 'Arachne' being the Greek word for spider.
-Centipedes aren't actually insects, either. They are Myriapods- the term meaning "many feet".
-All arachnids have eight legs.
-All insects have six legs.
-Both are subgroups of the Arthropod phylum. Defined as "invertebrates (no spine) with an exoskeleton (external skeleton), jointed limbs, and segmented body".
Arthropods include insects, arachnids, myriapods (e.g. aforementioned Centipedes), and crustaceans (e.g. Lobsters).
And that's it for today's lesson.

Aw man, what happened to all the arachnophobes here? I thought there was a bunch.Ugh....I hate spiders.....Those skinny house spiders are cool tho, I let them live.
I remember reading that one the tortures used under the rule of Augusto Pinochet, a Chilean Dictator, was to place nasty spiders on a woman's nether regions.

Maggots are more effective in that respect. Especially in, as opposed to on.

'Tis a very rare occasion. Maggots, on the other hand, will eat your face guaranteed.

Are you sure? ._.
I thought maggots would only eat dead tissue. I mean, maggots were used on injured soldiers as treatment during the U.S civil war, I think.
Also, there was a video around of this guy who had like a whole pile of maggots inside his urethra.... yea, I don't know why this guy had living maggots inside his dick but I'd would like to believe it was for medical reasons....
Would look for the video and post it but not sure if it is against TOS

It depends on the species. Some feed only dead tissue, some feed only on live tissue, and some feed on both.
