Mainly because this "girl type" doesnt have a name.
(i never tried coz i thought it was forbidden, but i saw someone claim dark magician girl too)

well, in monster hunter, there is no real "character", but due to the skimpiness of the kirin armor found in the game when you kill a kirin, it became rather famous =X and in the internet, there are alot of images of kirin girls and there are alot of hentai doujins of kirin girls too.

Well, a kirin girl isnt exactly a single specific character, but we generally group em as "kirin girl"

hopefully its acceptable (kirin girls dont exist anywhere else, its specific to monster hunter only, much like "dark magician girl" being specific to yu-gi-oh only)
