It kind of looks like I'm the minority on liking the OP.
Fitting? Barely. Misleading? Very. But it is still a good song and the visuals were nicely done, and it half sort of kind of fits.
Keep in mind I haven't watched it yet.

Watched the first ep and I liked it. Faithful adaptation and they managed to pull it off I think. Not a fan of the opening as a Watamote opening. Decent song I guess, but it reminded me of the ending to Mnemosyne a lot, and I don't really want to be making that parallel.

I liked it too but I'll agree that it isn't exactly the most fitting opening.
