So, I'm your new local newbie here. I'll probably become known quick as:

"that new guy who is usually annoying but can on occasion offer some good insight"

I figured I'd join mostly for teh lulz but also because I know Rovencrone IRL. For the record, I don't like hentai, I only like a certain type of echi(and good luck figuring out which it is), and the types of anime I watch are generally comedies or dramas, typically about high school students and etc (Lucky Star / Azumanga Daioh, Clannad / Toradora). I'm not into ero, guro, or oro (hur hur), I like Vocaloid, I've pirated most of them, and I've also got a couple nendoroids and etc sitting on my desk. Hm, what else? I use Linux whenever I can, but I have Windows 7 for gaming / VN / Vocaloid / etc. Oh, and you'll have to accept now that I'm weird. I'm also probably gonna push the rules as far as I can. I might get banned at some point. Anyway, yeah.

...Also, I highly commend those who actually read that wall of text. That being said, I will still rage at any and all who tl;dr me. So be forewarned.

PS: I'm way into Portal. I spent $800 on computer parts to build a computer just to play the second one when it comes out this fall. I own three Portal shirts, plus another that is out of commission. So when I remind you that the cake is a lie, please bear with me and remain resolute and resourceful in an environment of extreme pessimism.

Lol, yaoi's not even close. And that's generally more hentai than echi anyway. I mean, conceivably, yes, but, no. And lol, good, because one of the reasons I joined was because I saw how similar you are to me xD. Rovencrone showed me the topic on Miku Dying and etc and I also made the AutoTune comparison before reading your post about it, and I was basically making the same argument before even reading yours. It made me lul.

@Nashrakh: I used to play sax, but the band teacher at our school is pretty intense and kind of hates me, so I may have just dropped the class in the middle of freshman year without telling him and never come back.

Yeah, and you have to keep buying reeds and etc. I have an alto and a tenor in the corner but my parents made the bad decision of buying the tenor off of craigslist and it's never been reasonably playable except in the higher octave...

Hm, bass guitar, nifty. I've always wanted to play guitar, but I just can't do it with how my fingers are. And craigslist is nice at times; I'm typing this up on a 1080i monitor I got off of there for a bargain price. It's just that you have to be careful.

Na I always hit the wrong string while trying to hit a different one. I'm very musically talented (I can figure out songs by ear on the guitar) but I can't reliably play it for my life xD

Na just doing it because I'm bored. I mess around on various instruments (synth, guitar, hell even trombone) but it's always someone else's instrument. I never really feel like making my own music, unless you count the time I made this, but I don't.

Yeah, which is why as I said I don't count it. It is pretty fun to direct people to that video for teh lulz, though. It's amazing what the human mind can produce in 5 hours with a good ear.
