Howdy! I'm a 31 year old American that's living in Japan. (I got me a Japanese wife also.)
As a hobby I'm trying to make a few indie video games for pc. I'm a pixel artist that does 100% original sprites. (No edited sonic or mega man x sprites here.)
Using Clickteam's The Games Factory, I'm trying to make a hentai game. http://create-games.com/project.asp?id=1454 And together with my wife, I'm trying to make a 2nd game that's half puzzle/half manga. http://create-games.com/project.asp?view=main&id=1894
As far as hentai goes, I'm not into anything too wild. I do, however, have a weakness for girls with glasses, Chun Li, and gurango girls. And uh, I guess that about sums it up. Yoroshiku onigaishimasu!

Hello. Japan is great. Even better if you make the effort to try to learn Japanese.
A lot of Americans hated Japan... but these were the same people that didn't try to learn the local language. I can't read Kanji or -kana worth a lick, but I can speak rather well. My wife and I talk using a mix of English and Japanese.
Like a lot of people, I had already wanted to come here. But the only way a guy like me could pull it off was to join the Navy. I lucked out, and got sent to Japan. (You have very little control as to were you are stationed.) I suffered through four long years of it... really, sometimes I wouldn't wish what I went though on my worse enemy. Wanted to call it quits many times, but I stick with it and got out. Normally most guys stationed overseas go back to the US to their familes when they are done. But not me, I've got a family of my own here.

It's common in any large forum, but seeing as this is your own thread no one will see a problem with it if you respond to the posts here. Just respond to the ones that seem like they're relevant to what's going on in the thread and your original post. Don't follow the example of others and start spamming to raise your post count, it's a good way to seem like a low quality poster.

The program I use is called 'the games factory' or 'tgf' for short. It was created by a company called clickteam. http://www.clickteam.com/website/usa/
The program is kinda outdated. They made better programs awhile ago, like tgf2 or mmf2. But well, I'm stubborn. And since I paid for my copy of tfg outright, it's all the more reason I should stick with it.
I never heard of that program you said before. I'll goggle it. =] But, it's kinda troubling that you might have seen a game like mind. I pride myself on using original content in my games (well other then the sound fx, it's kinda hard to get an uzi through mail order these days). So if you say you saw sprites that look like mine, I hope someone didn't steal them from me. My sprites are my babies.
But... if you just meant you saw something kinda familiar, that's cool. Got a link?
